like an 18 year old's panties at a stryper concert

that's what the weather is like - soggy.

the weather arrived late last week. cool weather has come to texas and is here to stay. for at least 20 more minutes. with it, came some much needed rain that we've all been doing our dance for, for the last 3 months. after the nasty allergy problems we've had for the last two weeks, this rain is welcomed. it started at 5:30 this morning and has gotten stronger in the last two and a half hours. and it doesn't look like it's going to let up. i checked the weather and it only shows one thing for the rest of the week:

  curse you umbreally carrying texans
all week, with no let up. so when you read a post from me next friday and i start in with analogies from college parties and pissing for two and a half hours straight (it always seems really funny after about 20 minutes when it doesn't let up, and you start laughing at yourself knowing the rest of the party has come to a hault and is listening to you piss and wondering if it'll ever stop) after tapping the busch light draft keg, you'll know that it hasn't let up.

luckily, i was able to get some solid riding time in with dobra this weekend. got the thunder monster baffles in and the pipes back on and went to justin, texas with my girlfriend and her son. met a sister and enjoyed a ride back. did some riding yesterday as well, and really enjoyed. the baffles sound better at 70 mph than they do at 30. and i finally got the horsepower back that i lost when i put the custom pipes on. nice to have some kick again.

oh, and you'll notice that i gave the MST3K film and indefinite star rating. this once tv show deserves more thanks than i could ever give it. for years, i've been waking at 8 on saturday mornings and watching MST3K while drinking coffee. it was my balance in the universe. well, last spring, scifi fulfilled their contract with Best Brains (the distributor for mst) and the show is no longer on the air. it's unfortunate, but everything comes to an end eventually. at least it can still live on in different media.

Did you ride down to my neighborhood? The wife and I saw you and Stacy on the way back from the grocery store. Sorry we weren't around if you stopped by.
