DVD comments

We finally finished up season 1 of 24. We've been raiding random Blockbuster locations trying to find all of the disks so we can watch the entire first season. Wow! What a first season! Suddenly, the randomly generated fact that states "If Jack Bauer was in a room with Hitler, Stalin, and Nina Meyers, and he had a gun with 2 bullets, he'd shoot Nina twice" makes all the sense in the world. Oh well, season 5 is about to finish up here in a few weeks on FOX and i guess it'll be time to go find season 2 while the long, slow haul of summer reruns begins.

Secondly, if you're a fan of The Boondock Saints, i highly recommend you pick up a documentary called "Overnight". It's an account of the rise and fall of Billy Duffy, writer and director of Boondock and accounts his life over a few year's time. To state that this man is a complete ass is giving him way to much credit. It's hard to believe that a great film like Boondock came from such a self righteous, obnoxious idiot.
