completely random nonsense
it's monday night and i've just gotten up from two hours of the best tv available to the civilized man - fear factor, where a show doesn't go by without wet, hard, large nipples and the most disgusting things anyone has ever put in their mouth, AND las vegas, which is just a downright great show with solid acting, beautiful people and a line of guest stars longer than my . . . well, pretty long. i've just stepped upstairs, delicately, as my back still feels like someone is trying to pull my spine out through my ass (the hard way) and downloaded my first clint black song. it's a little diddy called 'a good run of bad luck' and i'm telling you right now, this old boy could maybe make something of himself one day. this has caused my girlfriend to gasp, awkwardly, by this download (and yes, i even paid for it) so now i've reached the status of bees knees. she's a country music fan and just doesn't know what to do with herself over this revelation of mine for clint. who knew.
venturing into the continuous amazement that is Firefox, i've discovered a slew of new extensions available for download (free for these) to further my surfing pleasure. in one fail swoop, i installed 10 new extensions. the coolest being a legit google toolbar (like the one available for IE) and 3 additions that are visible in the graphic below.
this includes 'foxy tunes' - a built in media player (similar to those built for alternate shells like LiteStep, EVWM or iShell), Weatherfox - like going to weather.com, but built into your browser and then the Bloglines link that i mentioned in the previous post. ultra cool
being a cycle fanatic, i frequent a board for sabre owners like myself. there's probably 4 thousand other sabre owners who are part of this group and we interact with each other like a bunch of senior citizens in an old folks home who've known each other for 30 years. instant friends with a mutual passion for that which is the Honda Sabre. so one of the members who's known for spending quite a bit of money on modifications (eight grand to date) and upgrades has just completed his latest update to his scooter and has now had to dedicate his entire day to answering questions from the rest of the monkeys (the other 3,999 sabre owners) asking him questions about what he's done and swooning over the upgrades. Swift, the man of the hour has revealed his latest rebuild to those of us who only dream of owning something as beautiful some day.
the pictures don't do it justice, but he's had a new set of skins with the custom paint job completed as well as the new rake on his forks. he already had most of the chrome and custom wheels, but i find myself just gazing at the pic like a 17 year old girl over a picture of Franky Avalon. it's a good thing he lives in Hawaii as he probably would never get any sleep with the string of visitors wanting to thank him for the personal difference he's made in all of our lives. :)
now, if it would just stop raining and whoever is pulling my spine out thru my ass would quit, i could get some personal me time in with dobra and make myself feel better about life.
